The drawing is a rare image of the building built in 1843 – 1845 in accordance with the project of architect A.K.Kavos using innovative construction techniques.
In the 1850s, the drawing was lithographed by Bougé in the workshop of P.J. Paul-Petit. Historical Museum owns another two drawings by Luigi Premazzi: "Passengers waiting Room" and "The Forge and a coach barn". They were part of the complex of buildings Of the Post Office carriages and carts division.
