Panagia is oval, stretched vertically, with a carved relief of image of the Savior standing upright. The frame is silver, gilded, with polychrome enamel ornaments on a white background. On the reverse side of casing is a black enamel image of the Calvary cross and the inscription: “ЦР IIC XC KТ ГЛАВА АДАМОВА” “CR IIC CT HEAD OF ADAM”.

Panagia (Greek “all-Holy”) is a small icon with the image of the Mother of God (rarely the Savior, Trinity, saints, crucifixion, biblical scenes), most often of a rounded shape, is worn by bishops (priests of the third, highest degree of the priesthood) on the chest.
