Scraper is a tool with an extended working edge formed by retouching convex on the split line. It is one of the main types of tools of the Paleolithic, common from the very beginning of use of tools of ancient hominids, including ancestors of modern humans.
Functional purpose: it is mainly processing of soft materials (for example leather etc.) – cutting, scraping.
Notice of uniqueness: it is a typical tool for the Middle Paleolithic.
