Craft made of mammoth tusk

The craft is a flattened rod made of a mammoth tusk plate, which was broken off on one end, and having extension on the other that resembles the head of an irregular round shape. The craft was carved from a tusk, most likely with a flint tool. Its surface is carefully polished, there are no traces of use. The object could be a finial or a blank to create some kind of tool in the future. Its functional purpose remains unknown. This is a unique find at the sites of the Upper Paleolithic period in Eurasia.
